So as many of you may have guessed, I am a book-a-holic and more accurately, reading obsessed. You may have seen some of my posts about FREE Kindle eBooks, which I try to post on a weekly basis highlighting some of the FREE Kindle eBooks of interest I find during the week. You may also have seen some of my Thrifting posts in which I show you stacks of used books I score, or if you follow me on Instagram, you may see lots of pictures of books I score at used bookstores or pictures of stacks of books on my upcoming reading lists. In any case, ask any of my friends and family and they will tell you I always have a book in my hand (whether that be an actual book or my Kindle or the Kindle app on my phone). I find that I also many times am reading 2-3 books at a time…in other words I just can’t get enough.
Just recently I received an ARC copy of a book from one of my most recent favorite authors, I just can’t get enough of her books. I was so excited when I opened the email I actually squealed out loud and did a little dance. I know, crazy, yes! But all of you fellow book-a-holics understand me, right? I mean a FREE copy to read before it even comes out? Heaven, pure heaven! So if you are like me, once I have read these said tons of book I love to share my experience and thoughts about them. I share reviews through both Goodreads and Amazon and I have decided to share my thoughts on this website as well. Well all of this sharing and receiving an ARC copy got me thinking and googling and thus I found NetGalley, a website site where book reviewers and other professional readers can read books before they are published, in e-galley or digital galley form. Amazing, right?! So of course I signed up and I just couldn’t wait to tell you all about it in case you are just like me, aka, nuts about books! Can you feel my excitement?
To make things even better, after signing up I of course dashed through the hundreds of books available to request, and got to requesting. I found out this morning that I got approved to receive a copy of a book that is being released in July that I have had on my to-read list for months now and is a book in one of my current favorite series! YAY! *Happy Dance*
